Futura is a Sans-Serif typeface that was created by German designer Paul Renner in 1927. It was designed for a public housing project, ‘New Frankfurt.’ The Futura Font came into being as a result of sketches made by Renner. A few of the Futura designs are named Classic serif typefaces.
It comprises a profound X-height that decreases its stridency and enhances its propriety for the body text.
